Shreya Raman is an independent data journalist reporting on gender, health, labour and public policy and is based in Mumbai and Goa. She previously worked as a journalist for IndiaSpend and Mirror Now. She has won the Laadli Media Award for Gender Sensitivity, the Likho Award for Excellence in Media and worked on a series that won the prestigious Society of Publishers in Asia Awards. She has received grants and fellowships from the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), International Women's Media Foundation (IWMF) and Population Reference Bureau. Her work has been published in Foreign Policy, The Fuller Project, Nikkei Asia, Scroll.in, Article 14, Behanbox, IndiaSpend and The Third Pole.
