Britta Mpata is an emerging journalist with six years experience, currently working with Blantyre Synod Radio of the Church of Central African Presbyterian (CCAP) Blantyre Synod, with a Certificate in Journalism and still pursuing a Diploma at the Malawi Institute of Journalism.

An alumni of the WAN IFRA Women in News 2022 Leadership Accelerator Program and a grantee of the 2021 United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) Environment Reporting Grants under the Association of Women in Media AWiM, reporting mainly on health, gender and environment with a passion to influence positive behavioral change in these sectors.
